BACKGROUND
The project started when…
I was asked to create a *fictional app and adaptive website for a currency exchange application. This was all based off of the prompt: Create an app to help exchange currencies with ease. I had the mission of making an interface that was simple, inviting and easy to use. I was to also create a corresponding website with the app. The hardest part of this project was the open ended nature of it. It was freeing to be able to do whatever I wanted but it was also daunting and a enormous design challenge.
DESIGN TEMPLATE
For the design, I wasn’t given any specifications. I decided to go with the complimentary colors of orange and blue and a varying shade of green. I thought these were warm and welcoming colors that made a confusing process a little more comfortable. I wanted the general design to be clean and neat.
